BALLYDUFF’S reward for winning the club’s 25th county senior hurling championship title will be a Munster Club Intermediate Hurling Championship semi-final against either Kanturk (Cork) or St. Mary’s, Clonmel (Tipperary) on the weekend of November 5.

Ballyduff’s record making 25th county title - one more than Kilmoyley - came courtesy of a 4-13 to 1-19 win over Lixnaw last Sunday in a gripping replayed final at Austin Stack Park. The win puts them top of the senior hurling roll of honour.

Team captain Mikey Boyle received Corn Neilus Ó Floinn from Tim Murphy, Cathaoirleach Choiste Contae Chiarrai, C.L.G. while the Man of the Match Award together with a Skelligs Hotel voucher went to the Ballyduff centre forward Aidan Boyle.
