All roads lead to Castlegregory for The Kerryman Captains Challenge
CASTLEGREGORY Golf Club is where it’s all happening on this Saturday for The Kerryman Captains Challenge which will see 11 men and 11 ladies representing 13 of Kerry’s 16 clubs tee it up for the 10.30 shotgun start but unfortunately a number of Captains Prize winners were unable to make it on Saturday due to prior commitments.
The following are the 22 players who will fight it out for the coveted Kerryman Captains Challenge trophies:
Ladies: Toni Quilter (Ballybunion), Renee Clifford (Beaufort), Julianne Browne (Castleisland), Kate O’Connor (Ceann Sibeal), Tina Moriarty (Castlegregory), Caroline Breen (Dooks), Noreen O’Callaghan (Killarney), Delia Long (Kenmare), Christina Foley (Ring of Kerry), Siobhan Stack (Tralee), Anne O’Malley (Waterville).
Men: John Joy (Ballyheigie),Jim O’Leary (Beaufort), Liam McCarthy (Castleisland), Paddy Duggan (Ceann Sibeal), Alan O’Connor (Castlegregory), Daniel McGillycuddy (Dooks), Donal Murphy (Killorglin), Paul O’Connor (Kenmare), Billy Farrell (Ring of Kerry), Verners Tess (Tralee), Ché Flaherty (Waterville).
All players are requested to be in Castlegregory no latwer than 10am for tea / coffee and a scone prior to draw and after the golf there will be a prize presentation dinner at Tomáisín’s in Stradbally.
