SENIOR CITIZENS

Our Community Centre also runs a Senior Citizens Social Group every Wednesday at the Community Centre. We provide a three course meal, bingo and light activities. This social group is open to everyone and transport to the Community Centre is provided by our Community Centre bus and Local Link Kerry from Tralee and surroundin­g areas. ZUMBA CLASSES

The Very Popular Zumba Instructor Natalie Russell, is coming to Ballyheigu­e Community Centre on Tuesday 24th October at 9.30am to run a class. All Ages Welcome!! All Levels Catered for!! Only €8 per person. She is also willing to run a 6 six week class at the reduced rate of €40 per person. Please support and let’s keep her in Ballyheigu­e!!

ROSARY:

As October is the month of Mary we will continue saying the Rosary before Mass in St Mary’s Parish Church on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Vigil and Sunday. Mary Mother of Jesus please be a Mother to me now.

COURSING LOTTO:

The following numbers were drawn on Monday 9th October in the Ballyheigu­e & District Coursing Club Lotto: 1-12-1420. Jackpot was not won. The €50 winner was Graham Slattery, C/o Diarmuid. LEGO CLUB:

St Oliver’s National School in Ballylongf­ord are forming a Lego Club and are looking for any pieces of Lego that may be lying around the house and are not being used. Any donations of any pieces of unused Lego would be greatly appreciate­d and can be dropped into the school at any time.

PILGRIMAGE:

The Irish Pilgrimage Trust are now accepting applicatio­ns for their Easter Pilgrimage to Lourdes. Young people aged 1130 years with a variety of special needs including physical and medical conditions, learning difficulti­es or a young person who may have experience­d some challenge in their life are all eligible to apply. This pilgrimage provides respite care for parents and guardians and a free trip for the young person. The closing date for applicatio­ns is 31st October next.
