Tralee’s Brogue best in Munster
IF you’re a fan of a good carvery then a visit to Rock Street in Tralee should be top of your agenda.
Well known Tralee hostelry Kirby’s Brogue Inn has this week been named as the winner in the Munster provincial category of the Unilever Best Carvery Pub Awards.
The landmark at the bottom of the Rock in Tralee was the only Kerry pub that was shortlisted in the Munster category.

Inn is still in the running for the overall National Carvery Pub of the Year Award which will be announced later this week.
Proprietor of Kirby’s Brogue Inn Tralee, Fiona Kirby said that she and her husband Kevin Cotter were grateful to their dedicated staff and loyal customers.
“We’re absolutely delighted, it’s a great achievement for Kirbys Brogue Inn. We’re celebrating 40 years in business this year so this underlines all the hard work that our dedicated team have given to us,” she said.
“We are so grateful to our loyal customers who have been with us through thick and thin and we’d like to thank the Unilever judges for recognising that the Brogue is the place to be,” said Fiona Kirby.
