O’Dorney to host County SHL decider

THE final of the Credit Union County Senior hurling league, Division 1, between Ballyduff and Kilmoyley is fixed for this Saturday, October 28 at Abbeydorney, 4pm.
Due to weather conditions, the County Senior League, Division 2 final between St Brendans and Causeway was called off last Saturday.
Munster Club
KENMARE have an away game in Ardfinnan against Ballybacon-Grange on this weekend in the Munster Junior Hurling Championship quarter-final at 2pm. In the Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship semi-final on the weekend of November 5 Ballyduff will meet Kanturk (Cork) at a Kerry venue.
Acorn Life Under-21 Hurling Championship
ST Brendan’s got a walkover last weekend from South Kerry in the quarter-final of the County Under-21 hurling championship. The three other ties are scheduled to go ahead this weekend, October 28/30.
Lixnaw take on Causeway in Lixnaw on Saturday at 4pm and Crotta are at home to Ballyduff on Monday at 2pm. Abbeydorney / Ballyheigue meet Kilmoyley on a date to be decided.
Minor Hurling League
THE final of the County Minor hurling league, Division 1B, between Abbeydorney / Tralee Parnells and Kilmoyley is fixed for Monday next, October 30 (Bank Holiday) at 2pm.
Clubs
TRALEE Parnells will hold their annual awards night at the Rose Hotel, Tralee on Friday, November 17. The North Kerry Hurling Board annual awards function will take place at Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Friday, November 24.
The Tom Healy under-15 ground hurling tournament (under lights) continues at Abbeydorney on this Friday, October 27 (last week’s games were postponed due to weather conditions).
Games start at 7pm and the following teams will be participating: St. Brendans, Ballyheigue, Kenmare / Kilgarvan, Abbeydorney and Tralee Parnells. The semi-finals and final will now be played on Friday, November 3.
