Our seniors did enough to get over their first hurdle away to Ballylongford in wind swept O’Rahilly’s Park. With still plenty of room left for improvement if we are to progress further. TOMMY MADDEN MEMMORIAL U13 C’SHIP FINAL: Moyvane 4-13. Ballyduff 0-5. Another great day in Coolard with a large crowd in attendance to watch a well drilled Moyvane team overcome three in a row chasing Ballyduff side, never an easy task but even more so at Juvenile level. Many thanks to the Madden family for their continued fantastic sponsorship of this much sought after trophy. SYMPATHY: The Club extends Sympathy to Maria Purtil, her Family and extended Family on the passing of her Husband Ned R.I.P. who went to his eternal reward during the weekend. Ned played in six North Kerry Championships finals for Ballydonoghue and was Captain when we won in 1959. He also refereed three NK finals and played in two county senior finals.
