Afterwards children can meet the friendly witch with her magic eye who will regale you with some terrifying tales of Halloween in the Community Hall and there will be light refreshmen­ts for the adults. So why not get into the spirit of Halloween and join us in Ballyhahil­l Village where a fun filled evening of entertainm­ent is guaranteed.

MASS FOR THE DEAD

There will be a Mass for those who died during the year on November 4th and 5th.

CRAFT AND FOOD FAIR

A Craft and Food Fair will be held in the Parish Hall in Ballyhahil­l Sunday the 26th. November. Anyone who wishes to book a table is welcome to do so through the Parish Hall committee. Contact Secretary Mary at 087/1463208.

LOUGHILL BINGO

The newly elected officers of Loughill Community Developmen­t and Loughill Resource Centre wish to announce that a Bingo fundraiser will take place in Glin hall on Sunday 19th November at 3pm to raise funds to repair the heating problem in Loughill Resource Centre which has been out of action for the past 18 months or so. This is an expensive job so all your support for the fundraiser will be very welcome.

LOTTO

There was no winner of the 22nd October lotto jackpot of €2,000 the numbers drawn were 2,4,9,11. The €35 was won by Mary Grealis, Dundalk and the €20 was won by Nora Fitzmauric­e, Moyvane. The four sets of free tickets for €2150 Jackpot next week were won by David Behan, Rathea,Donie Ruane, Kielduff, Jer Bronnan, and Moss & Eamonn Dowling, Gortaclogh­ane. Due to the Storm the following is the Lotto results for last week There were two winners of the lotto jackpot of €26,050 the numbers drawn were 2,12,14,21. its was shared by Joe Nolan, Bird Hill and Sarah Nolan, Trieneragh, Duagh. The €35 was won by Patricia Sheehy, Tralee and the €20 was won by Anne Moriarty, Abbeyfeale.

SCHOOL

Sorting out those unwanted items of clothing, well keep us in mind, Lyreacromp­ane N.S. are organising a Clothing Recycle on Thursday 16th November.

TRIP

On Sunday 19th November we will be going to Blanchards­town Dublin( where you have a choice of over 100 shops) for our Annual Christmas Shopping day. Bus leaving Listowel at 7.15am. Abbeyfeale 7.30am. and NCW at 7.45am. Our first stop will be in Naas for breakfast to set us up for the day.
