Best Overall Area: Here Duagh/Lyre received 2nd in the best overall area category, this award was received by Mary Welch on behalf of our area. Great credit is due to all our participan­ts in all events during the year and to the coaches and parents for assisting with events - without your help this would not have been possible. In the category of PR, Duagh/Lyre received 1st place trophy this was received by Liz Twomey our PRO.

GERMAN CUISINE

The Oyster Tavern hosted an amazing event on Friday night last All in aid of Kerry Hospice (Spa Fenit Branch) and Cork Kerry Link Bus. Two Michelin Star Chefs treated over 100 guests to a taste of German Food .The night started with a punch bowel reception and they also had a raffle during the night with some great prizes.

Well done to all involved in a hugely successful event which was enjoyed by all who attended. As always a huge thank you to all who bought tickets for the night, for the raffle and to all who supported in any way.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

Kilorglin Branch held a church Gate Collection over the weekend and they would like to thank all who supported them over the couple of days.

THE ANVIL GROUP

Well done to all involved in this group who have raised huge money for Kerry Hospice / Palliative Care Unit. They held a very successful Charity Honda 50/70/90 Fun Run last week which started in the Anvil Bar, Boolteens and had stops in Minard, Lispole, and ended up back in Boolteens. The sun was shining for this event and there was a big crowd taking part.

We here in Kerry Hospice are extremely grateful to the Anvil Group who continue to support Palliative Care /Kerry Hospice Foundation. A huge thank you to all who supported in any way.

EVENTS COMING UP

Annascaul/Inch Branch are holding an event on the 22nd of November in the Chart House in Dingle. They have got great support with this event from many businesses and would like to thank all for the great support.

DUBLIN MARATHON

A huge congratula­tions to all who did the Dublin City Marathon and especially to all who ran in aid of Kerry Hospice Foundation. We are very grateful to all who decided to run for Kerry Hospice Foundation and if you would like to run or cycle for the cause please get in touch.
