VARIETY CONCERT
In aid of Ballyheigue Community Centre, ‘The Golden Lion Show Case Night of Entertainment’, directed by our very own Pat Sheehan, will take place on Saturday 25th November at 8.30pm (doors open at 7:15pm) at Ballyheigue Community Centre.

HOSPICE FOUNDATION
Many thanks to Michael & Noreen Gleeson & Family for their hospitality on the Coffee Day which raised €720. The total amount raised this year was €3,158.81 and thanks to your continuing support and generosity the new fifteen-bed-Unit is now officially open at U.H.K., Tralee.

DEATHS
The death occurred of Eileen Holly, (née Dineen), Barna, Ballybunion and formerly of Castleshannon. Sadly missed by her loving husband Patrick, children Linda, Joseph and Denise, grandchildren Clodagh, Tadhg and Josh, Sisters Mary, Noreen, Margaret and Ann. Brothers Paudie and Michael, Mother-inlaw, Sisters-in-law, Brothers-inlaw, Nieces, Nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at her home on Monday 6th November. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 7th November in St. John’s Church, Ballybunion followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery St. John’s.

Deeply regretted by her son Billy, daughter-in-law Peg, grandchildren Lucy and Billy and Lucy’s husband Mark, great-grand children Robbie, Katie and J.P. and Alex. Reposing on Tuesday at her son’s Billy’s home followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Ballyheigue. Requiem Mass on Wednesday followed by private cremation.
THE DEATH occurred of Kathleen (Kitty) Gleeson, Glenlea. Predeceased by her sisters Lil and Helen. Deeply regretted by her brother Michael and sister Annie (England), sister-in-law Noreen, her nephews and nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing on Thursday in Casey’s Funeral Home, Causeway followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Ballyheigue. Requiem Mass on Friday followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Ballyheigue.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Countdown to the switching on of the Christmas lights in Ballylongford on Saturday evening 9th December has begun. This will be a great community evening in the village, with carol singers and Santa’s helper in attendance. Light refreshments will be provided at the event by the organising group. As part of this year’s project it is hoped to purchase and erect additional Christmas street lights in further areas of the village. Anyone wishing to make a voluntary donation to the ongoing "light up Bally Christmas project" can do so by contacting any of the following -David Doherty, Noel Fennell or Noirin Lynch .

We would like to invite you to a service and blessing of the yard in the school on Friday 17th of November. The service will take place at 11am. and will be followed by the unveiling of the wall plaque and the raising of flags recently awarded to the school. BEREAVEMENT
Her many friends and acquaintances in the parish were saddened to hear of the unexpected passing of the late Eileen Keane (née Moran) R.I.P. of St Patrick’s Terrace, Tarbert who died on September 25th last. Eileen who died unexpectedly was born and reared in Ballyline and enjoyed her childhood years in the locality where she attended school and church and as she grew into a young woman she did not have to travel outside the confines of the Parish to meet and fall in love with the man of her
