Kerry School of Music hosted the tenth Annual Ensemble Concert in the Rose Hotel Tralee on Sunday 12th November. Millie Lawlor, who played violin with the Junior Orchestra enchanted the audience with their rendition of The Rose of Tralee and also Feed the Birds and If I were a Rich Man from the musical Mary Poppins. It was a wonderful evening of delightful music performed by accomplish­ed musicians. Community GamesIt’s that time of the year again! Draughts training is due to recommence Monday evenings from 4pm to 5pm in Ardfert National School from Monday next the 20th of November. This has been one of the most successful activities in Community Games for our area. New participan­ts always welcome. Come along and try this exciting, skillful and engaging game. €1 per week. RALLYING

The 2017 Kerry Winter stages rally was held on Sunday over six stages, with over 80 cars taking to the start line. The dry weather conditions brought large crowds of spectators to the event.Gary Kiernan and Keith Moriarty in their Ford Escort Mark2 were the overall winners, who had two minutes to spare over the second placed car.

Well done to Robert Monahan, Bobby O’Connor and David Dineen who played with Fenit Samphires U14s in their big win over Listowel at the weekend, with Robert and Bobby also getting on the scoresheet.
