TEMPLEGLANTINE
The Group’s first closed AA meeting was held in Tarbert on November 23, 2002. Come along and hear how AA in Ireland has evolved since its first meeting in Dublin in 1946. An audio-visual presentation, by our fellow AA member Tom H from the Limerick City groups, will outline what happened then and how AA got to where we are today. As with all AA groups/members, our primary purpose is to stay sober and to help the still suffering alcoholic who has a desire to stop drinking. A warm welcome is assured and we encourage all members of the public to attend. Light refreshments will be served. We are not bad people trying to get good- we are wounded people trying to heal.
