Christmas cards from Oilean Beo Craft Co-op

-

MEMBERS of the Oilean Beo Craft Co-op here in Castleisland have been working away over the past couple of months at their arts and crafts benches ahead of the seasonal market.

They started out a few years ago with Christmas Cards only but they’ve branched out into ceramics this year and their product range has benefited as a result.

Oilean Beo Craft Co- Op was set up by adults who attend St John of God Kerry Service in Castleisland to showcase their artistic talents and abilities and give them independence.

Recently the Co- Op received funding from the Solidarity Trust Foundation and received seven weeks training in ceramics from Turbrid Studios in Ardfert.

The group has been working hard making Christmas decorations, cards and crafts which are for sale at An Riocht Health and Leisure Club.

The craft co-op workers are inviting members of the public to come and have a look and support them.

They make cards for all seasons and many other occasions but they’ve put a special effort into this year’s Christmas output.

They also make up personalised anniversary, birthday and wedding invitation cards and in any reasonable quantity. And they can be made to order with your design or logo included.

The group’s products are on sale at An Riocht AC.

For further information you’re invited to contact 087 96 92 881.
