GAA Club hats: Causeway club hats are available and are for sale at the local shops Flynns, Hanlys and Leahys. €15 per hat. Adult hats only available at present, awaiting delivery of kids hats. Keep an eye on Facebook/Twitter for updates!

GAA LOTTO: Lotto Results! Numbers drawn 2,6,10,30. No jackpot winner! €50 Josie Gilbert, €40 Eileen Dowling, €30 Chris Bulman, €20 Kitty Cooley Ballyheigu­e. Jackpot now €4,500! Draw on Wednesday night. Lotto: The lotto draw for a jackpot of €6700 was held on Saturday night last in O’Connor’s Bar, Knocknagos­hel. The numbers drawn were 11, 16, 25 and 27. There was no winner of the jackpot. The five lucky dips of €100 each drawn went to Peter Murphy Ballydesmo­nd, Johnny Cronin Moyvane, Sarah Delaney Knocknagos­hel, Tom Young Templeglan­tine and Mark O’Brien Killarney. The next draw will be for a jackpot of €6800 and will be held in Eddie Walsh’s Bar on Saturday 6th of January 2018. Tickets are available from Kieran’s XL, Leahy’s Post Office, the local bars and usual sellers. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the people of the parish for their generosity when our yearly lotto ticket sellers called to the houses. Annual General Meeting; The AGM of Knocknagos­hel GAA club was held on Saturday December 9th with a number of changes at the helm of the club. Noel Brosnan handed over the baton to Dan Roche after an eleven year stint as Chairman of the club.
