Senior Football: We didn’t get the dream ending to the year that we had hoped for on Sunday last in the North Kerry Senior Football Championship Final when we were well beaten by Ballydonoghue. While we started brighter and and led by two points, playing against the wind, but Ballydonoghue had a man sent off which seemed to galvanise them into action and they scored 1 3 without reply and led at halftime by five points 1 5 to 0 3. We started the second half well with a Mikey Boyle point but could not mantain the momentum and a Jack Goulding goal was our only other score of the half. Congratulations to Ballydonoghue on winning back to back titles, you were worthy winners on the day but on another day things could have been different. Certainly the long season of 47 games 25 in football and 22 in hurling is a huge ask plus travelling etc for amateurs but you did it all and gave huge enjoyment to your large number of followers. A huge thanks to all involved.

The season concludes with a North Kerry Senior Football League Division 2 final on Saturday next against Moyvane in Ballylongford at 2.00pm.Kerry Captain: Ballyduff GAA Club has great pleasure in nominating Padraig Boyle to be Captain of the Kerry Senior hurlers for 2018.
