NEW IN PATIENT UNIT

The new In Patient unit opened its doors this week to patients .The many long years of fundraising by our hard working volunteers and the support the Kerry Hospice Foundation get on a daily basis from the public is the reason this unit has become a reality.

But as we keep saying the hard work must continue we have pledged to fund €400,000 every year for the next five to keep in with funding the running cost of the new unit and are always funding €100,000 for Palliative care services and the home care team.

At this stage we just want to thank you the public for the fantastic support in raising this money. We would like also to take this opportunity to wish all the new wonderful staff good wishes for the future.

EVENTS COMING UP:

We have our annual flag day on the 16th of December, look out for our many volunteers around Tralee.

There will be a Christmas carol evening in st James Church on the 17th of December at 7pm all welcome. A nice way to start the festivities.

CHRISTMAS CARDS

There is big demand again this year for Christmas cards that are on sale around the county and many of our branch members have them. A packet of ten for €7 and they are truly amazing cards this year.

The Spa Fenit Branch are also selling their annual calendar this time of year. It is in selected shops or the branch members have them also.

KILLORGIN BRANCH:

In what is now a sell out show every year, the branch held their Carol night in the Sol Tapas building on Sunday last. They streamed the event live as there was a huge demand for tickets. Well done to the many fantastic entertainers who performed brilliantly on the night. A huge thank you to all who supported this in any way.
