Kerry star Crowley in a spin for St Stephen’s Day event for charity

-

IF you fancy burning off some festive pounds while raising money for a very worthy cause this Christmas, then the ‘charity spin classes on St Stephen’s morning at Spin Street, Killarney, are just the answer - and if the crowds are big enough, additional classes will also be provided on the day.

All proceeds from the event go towards the ‘Gaelic Voices for Change’ movement, a charity initiative consisting of GAA players who recently had a huge sleep out in solidarity with homeless people in Dublin.

Classes are free of charge, however attendees are asked to make a donation to this homeless movement which delivers the money directly to Focus Ireland, The Peter McVerry Trust and other homeless organisations.

And in keeping with the Gaelic voices theme, Kerry football star Peter Crowley – and possibly some other Kerry players with ties to the charity – will also be there for the workout and to encourage cyclists.

As it’s the festive season, all attending are advised to stick with the Christmas theme by wearing their Christmas jumpers or Santa hats.

The classes will take place on St. Stephens morning at 10.30am and 11.30am in Spin Street Killarney which is across from the entrance to Scott’s Hotel on Scott’s Street. Additional classes will be added if required.

For more information about booking your place in Spin Street, call 087 7692224, email info@spinstreet.com or download the Spin Street app.
