Big weekend as Camp remain unbeaten
KILLARNEY PLAZA UNDER 15 Premier
THIS was a big weekend for Camp Juniors.
They remain unbeaten and are now on 15 points from their five games played. They were 4-0 winners away to Mastergeeha with the goals coming from Kian Clancy 2, Thomas O’Donnell and Maurice O’Connell.
Their closest challengers Killorglin also won making it three wins from three games with Dylan Moriarty and Keith Evans scoring two each and Cillian Burke and Callum Russell getting one each.
The Park have moved into third place after a come from behind win over Killarney Celtic at Celtic Park. Cian McMahon and William Shine had put Killarney Celtic 2-1 up with David Callaghan replying for the Tralee side. But Cian Brosnan proved to be the match winner as he hit two late goals.
Division 1
TRALEE Dynamos and Fenit played out a 3-3 draw that sees Dynamos move to within two points of third place. The Tralee side took the lead through Sean Hoare but Fenit came back strongly and led 2-1 at half-time thanks to goals from Danny Jeffers and Eddie McCarthy.
Dynamos got the better start of the second half and levelled matters when Andy Rogers scored. But this game was swinging to and fro and it was Fenit the stuck next with Eddie McCarthy scoring from the penalty spot.
They looked like they were going to hold on for all three points, but there was more drama when Dynamos were awarded a penalty themselves. Sean Dillane made no mistake to ensure a share of the points from both sides.
Division 2
RATTOO Rovers have moved onto 12 points from their four games and have gone three points ahead of Ballyheigue who were not playing. Rattoo Rovers points come after a 3-0 score line over Listowel Celtic Girls.
The Park B will be happy to get three points as they defeated Windmill United 3-1 with Adam Murphy scoring for Windmill.
