IVERAGH United are the new leaders of the division after the climbed about Killarney Athletic after beating them in Woodlawn. Ben O’Donoghue was on fire and his goals were added to be strikes from Kieran O’Donnell, Zack Fayen, Finn Barrett, Oisin Breen and Donagh Shine O’Sullivan.
Killarney Celtic has joined Killarney Athletic in second place on 5 points after they defeated Mastergeeha 3-0 in Kilbrean Park. Nattigan Ryan put Celtic ahead and they doubled their lead from an Eoghan Crowley penalty before half time. Crowley added his second and his side’s third.
Killorglin and The Park both needed the three points but in the end will probably settle for a point. Stephen Barrett put the Tralee side ahead, but Dara O’Connor equalised late on for Killorglin who lost Jack Lynch to injury and we wish him a speedy recovery.
Division 1
LISTOWEL Celtic are now on six wins from six after the proved too strong for Killarney Celtic B. Their goals came from Evan Boyle 3, Cormac Dillon 2, James Wong, Rob Heffernan and Shane Horgan.
Inter Kenmare are doing everything this can to keep pressure on the North Kerry side and they are now onto 15 points after a 4-2 win over Camp Juniors. Daragh O’Sullivan hit a hat trick for Inter with Sean Treyvaud getting the other goal.
Tralee Dynamos work on the training ground paid off with a win thanks to a last minute Tom Quilligan goal that gave them all three points from their trip to Dingle.
Division 2
PARK B missed the chance to go second as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Mastergeeha B. Euan Evans got the goal for the visitors. The Park remain in third but close the gap to a point of second placed Killorglin.
