Our main interest is to continue to provide the teaching and passing on of our traditions of Irish music, song, dance and our Irish language and it’s as simple as that. CHRISTMAS MASSES

The Christmas Eve mass will be celebrated in Loughill Church at 6.00 p.m. and in Ballyhahil­l Church at 8.00 p.m.

On Christmas Day mass will be celebrated 10.00 a.m. in Ballyhahil­l Church and at 11.15 a.m. in Loughill Church.

St. Stephen’s Day Mass will be celebrated at 11.00 a.m. in Ballyhahil­l Church.

SYMPATHY:

The death occurred recently in the USA of Liz Stack, late of Knocknabou­la, Foynes Funeral took place in the USA. Sincere sympathy to her family, friends and relations. RIP.

LOTTO

There was no winner of the 17th December lotto jackpot of €2300 the numbers drawn were 2,10,17,22. The €35 was won by Steven Mc Auliffe, Brosna and the €20 was won by Mike Walsh, Kerry Co op. The four sets of free tickets for €2,450 Jackpot next week were won by Michael O’ Carroll, c/o Mossie Long, Catherine Murphy, c/o M Mc Guire, Seand Brouder, Duagh and Cathy Louise O’Connor, Maugha.

SCHOOL

Lyreacromp­ane N.S. are holding their Christmas Play on Thursday 21st December at 6.30p.m. in Lyre Resource Centre. Christmas Hampers will be drawn on the night along with raffle prizes and lucky dips. Looking forward to seeing you all on the night. Raffle tickets for the hampers are on sale locally at Nolan’s Shop and the Four Elms and also from the school. DEATH

The death occurred of Christy Quille, Clahane, Lyreacromp­ane on 13th December predecease­d by his wife Mamie, Sincere sympathy is extended to his daughters Mary, Agnes, Elizabeth and Breda, his brothers John USA and Tim in England, sister in law, sons-in- law, Grandchild­ren, nieces, nephews, grandniece­s, grandnephe­ws, relatives and friends. May he rest in piece.
