‘Misplaced’ film to be screened in Killarney cinema
A LONDON filmaker will screen his latest film, entitled ‘Misplaced’, in the Killarney cinema on the night of Friday, March 23.
The film, which tells the true story of filmmaker David Lam’s childhood growing up in extreme poverty in the Killorglin area, was filmed in and around the Killorglin and Kenmare area in the summer of 2017.
“We had such a wonderful reception from the people in Killarney and Kenmare and all the beautiful places in between and with the screening, we want to welcome everyone on the night,” said Louise Ashby, Assistant Producer, speaking to The Kerryman.
The screening, which is completely free will take place at 6:45pm in Killarney Cinema on Friday March 23 - tickets for the screening can be booked online at the films website at onfilmstudios.co.uk.
