WE will be having a meeting with all East Kerry PROs from the District on Tuesday, March 13 at 8:30pm in the Killarney Heights Hotel, on the night Con Dennehy a very successful author and journalist will give a few advisory words on how to work with radio and the print media. All club PROs requested to attend.

FREWEN Cup Final

ST Brendan’s College defeated St Flannans Ennis in Duagh last Wednesday.

The game was played in a sporting manner with Emmet O’Shea (Fossa) and Michael Lenihan (Dr Crokes) goals proving decisive in the finish. Daniel Kelly (Clondegad) and Kevin Keane (Corofin) performed well for the Ennis outfit. Mike Meade (Limerick) refereed the game well on the day.

Best of luck to St Brendans College in the All Ireland semi final next Saturday March 10. St Pats of Cavan will provide stiff resistance the Ulster champions winning the title with a superb team display. The match venue and time have yet to be finalised.

WE propose to get our competitio­ns started with U16 Leagues to commence on Monday March 26.

Games to continue each Monday afterwards. We propose the following groups:

Group A: Kenmare, Killarney Legion, Firies, Rathmore, Dr Crokes Group B Glenflesk, Kilcummin, Gneeveguil­la, Tempelnoe, Fossa, Listry-Keel

Group C: Cordal-Scartaglin, Spa, Kilgarvan-Tuosist, Currow, Beaufort, (Any B team that would wish to enter)

We propose to play 2 finals from each group after the league phase. Division 1 Final Top of group A (Home) v 2nd Div 2 Final 3rd of group A (Home) v 4th Division 3 Final Top of group B (Home) v 2nd Division 3 Final Top of group B (Home) v 2nd.
