Warriors host Belfast Star
GARVEYS Tralee Warriors crucial Superleague trip to fellow title chaser Templeogue was a victim of the weather warning last weekend, and with that fixture yet to be rescheduled, Warriors will host Belfast Star in Tralee this Saturday at 8pm where nothing but a win will keep them in the hunt for the play-offs.
Meanwhile, in the All-Ireland Schools League Finals held in Dublin last week the Presentation Tralee won the U16 ‘B’ Girls title with a 47-14 win over St Paul’s Oughterard (Galway).
In the U19 ‘A’ Boys final Intermediate School Killorglin were beaten 52-35 St Joseph’s College The Bish (Galway), and in the U19 B Boys final Colaiste Ide & Iosef Abbeyfeale lost 63-51 to St Paul’s Oughterard,
Meanwhile, two otgehr Schools final involving Kerry schools were postponed until next week with Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra Rathmore playing Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal from Blarney in the U16A Boys Final next Monday, while on Thursday, March 15 Presentation Castleisland take on Scoil Chriost Ri, Portlaoise in the U16 ‘A’ Girls Final.
