South Kerry hotels fly flag at US promos

TOURISM Ireland’s 2018 series of ‘ Jump into Ireland’ sales blitzes across the United States takes place this week – taking in the cities of Houston Texas, Tampa Florida and Atlanta Georgia.

A delegation of 18 Irish and American tourism companies, including the Park Hotel Kenmare and the Parknasilla Resort and Spa, is undertaking a busy schedule of B2B events in each city, showcasing Ireland via a 60-minute interactive showcase. The sales blitz gives the participating companies from Ireland a platform to promote and sell their products and services to key American decision-makers, as well as providing them with excellent opportunities for networking with travel and lifestyle journalists.

“In 2018, we are confident that our strategy will deliver further growth. Our aim is to deliver a five per cent increase in visitor numbers and a seven per cent increase in revenue from North America in 2018,” said Alison Metcalfe of TI.
