What a catch! James lands first salmon of season on Feale
ANGLER James Allman caught the first salmon of the season on the River Feale last week to the envy of his fellow fishers as he landed an absolute beaut, coming in at over nine pounds.
“I got it on the Killocrim –Finuge club waters and it weighed just over 9lbs, the fly it took was a Dee Monkey on an inch-long aluminum tube,” James told The Kerryman in an interesting tip for the budding anglers of the county.
