JOHN WALSH, LARHA

The community was greatly saddened at the news of the death of John Walsh of Larha.

A member of a highly esteemed local family John was a man of kind and gentle nature who was held in the highest regard by everyone who knew him.

A very popular member of the local farming community John was a good neighbour to everyone in the Larha area and his sad passing at a relatively young age touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.

John was in the same class as myself going to Asdee National School and he was very popular with all the pupils and teachers.

Huge congregations turned out on Sunday evening for the removal of his remains from Lynch’s Funeral Home in Ballylongford to St Mary’s Church and again on Monday morning at the Requiem Mass and internment to Killahenny Cemetery in Ballybunion.

Deepest sympathy is extended to his brothers, James and Patrick, sisters, Joan, Michelle, Maresa, Noranne, and Ena and all other family members and relatives.
