Division 1 QUILLS WOOLLEN MILLS UNDER 14

MARK O’Shea scored the only game of this Division 1 clash as Mastergeeha took a vital win against leaders Ballyhar.

This leaves them nine points behind, but with four games in hand so the Kilbrean side are still favourites to take the title.

Killorglin B got their first three points of the season with a 3-0 win over Inter Kenmare.

Division 2

FENIT enjoyed a 7-1 win over Killarney Athletic B to move six points clear at the top of the table but they have played a game more than Castleisland in second. The amazing thing about this game is that Eddie McCarthy hit all seven goals for Fenit.

MEK moved level with LB Rovers in third after they defeated the North Kerry side 4-2. Eddie Moroney (two), Sam Griffin and Kevin Harant got the goals for the winners while Daniel Barrett and Jack Sheehy got the LB Rovers goals.

Girls Premier

INTER Kenmare made it three wins from three as they extended their lead at the top of the table after a 3-0 win away to Killarney Athletic.

Inter got off to the perfect start with Kiera O’Leary scoring inside two minutes when she refused to give up on what looked like a lost cause and powered home from close range.

The game remained tight thereafter with both defences doing well, but it was Inter that got the vital second goal just before the break. Chloe Cremins shot was well saved by the Athletic keeper, but O’Leary was quickest to react and got her and her sides second goal.

Athletic threw everything at Inter to try and get one back, but were caught late on when Grace Roberts White got in behind their defence and crossed for Orla O’Brien to score and wrap up the win.

For an Athletic side that gave everything Laura O’Carroll and Sarah Neher were the best players on the day.

TRALEE TROPHY WORLD UNDER 16 Premier
