PRAYER MEETING:
The Lenten Prayer Meeting with Sr. Teresa continues on this Thursday evening March 22nd at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre, Ballyduff.
DEATH:
The death took place of Josephine (Josie) Browne (née Dowling), The Green, Rahela, Ballyduff. Her remains were removed from Lawlor’s Funeral Home, Ballyduff to SS Peter’s & Paul’s Church. Burial was in Rahela Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the family, relatives & friends of the above deceased.
BOXING CLUB:
Ballyduff Boxing Club put 8 Kerry Champions through to the next stage of the Boy 1 /2 /3 Munster championship. Boxing commences in Limerick on the 18th/19th /25th March. Three of our boys are automatically awarded Munster Champions in walkovers (no one to match them in their weight category) and progress to the National Finals in April namely Jack Galway, Charlie Fitzgerald & Cathal Enright. Well done boys and good luck to our other boxers in the forthcoming Munster Challenge. The club thanks you for the generous support in the recent bucket collection. The club raised over €1,877 which is tremendous.This will be used in part towards the kit, travel costs and general club running costs.
TIDY TOWNS:
