PLEDGE:

An invitation has been extended to those who made Confirmati­on in Moyvane recently to come and take the Pledge to abstain from alcohol until the age of 18 and to abstain from drugs for life. This short ceremony will take place after Paul’s presentati­on on Tuesday night 20th, some refreshmen­ts afterwards. All are welcome.

CHURCH NEWS

KNOCKANURE Church has been closed for the past week. It will remain closed until Sunday April 15th.The work that we are undertakin­g is the rewiring of the whole Church which will include plug points and new economical lighting. Also cleaning and painting of the ceiling that has been damaged over the years by having the heaters too high up. The complete instillati­on of heaters and appropriat­e extractor fans.

EUCHARISTI­C ADORATION: MOYVANE: Wednesday 10am to 7pm.

CONFIRMATI­ON Duagh, Tues 20th, be in seat at 3.15 p.m, 45 candidates.

MISSION Duagh closing night, with Fr. Derek Meskell on March 23rd at 8.00 p.m.

HOLY WEEK CONFESSION will take place on Monday 26th March at 8.00 p.m. in Listowel.

DEATHS

DEATH has taken place of Thomas Bernard (Bernie) O’Connor, 16 Lartigue Village, Listowel and late of Keylod, Moyvane, on the 15th March 2018. Predecease­d by his wife Hanna Mai on the 8th January 2018. Deeply regretted by his, sisters Joan and Kathleen, brothers Liam, Danny, Michael, Francis, (predecease­d by Eymard who died Nov. 2012); brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.
