THE quarter-final pairings for the Kingdom Senior Challenge Shield are now known following the completion of the first-round matches over the weekend. At the top of the draw, Ballybunio­n beat Ring of Kerry and will now have a home match against Ross.

Waterville beat Kenmare and now have a home game against Tralee while Dooks beat Castleisla­nd away to set up a home tie against their neighbours Killorglin while Killanrey had an away win at Ceann Sibeal and now have Castlegreg­ory at home in the next round.

In the intermedia­te shield all first round games must be completed by Sunday next, April 15.
