Strong interest ahead of May Munster Property Auction

-

THE Munster Property Auction is continuing to see a strong appetite for all varieties of property throughout the province ahead of its May 3 auction, according to Patrick Convey, Director for The Munster Property Auction.

Mr Convey said that, according to the latest figures released by DAFT.ie, for first time in almost two years prices have risen in all nine urban and rural areas in Munster. While this is a sign of economic growth, Ireland is still seeing a lack of supply of good family homes and investment properties, and this is putting upward pressure on house prices.

Traditionally, late spring and summer months tend to be the most active time of year for property transactions and Mr Convey added that they will have a large range of realistically priced family homes and investment properties from Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Waterford and Tipperary in the May 3 auction.

“We recommend buyers to contact the auction team to arrange viewings at the earliest opportunity,” he added.

The Munster Property Auction works with over 50 local auctioneers across Munster offering the service of combining local knowledge with the broader reach of a national auction house.

Mr. Convey added: “we have a large database of buyers ready to purchase, and we are encouraging anyone thinking of selling in the coming months to get in contact with us to arrange a free valuation.”

Last week’s property section featured properties in Ballydavid and Knocknagoshel that are up for auction in May. This week an attractive five-bed split level bungalow at Tara, Poulawaddra, near Tralee, has been added to the list. Situated on a large elevated site and located just 0.5km from Tralee town, it is offered at bids over €199,000 in partnership with Property Partners Daly Ó Sé, Tralee,

This property benefits from outstanding views over Tralee town and the surrounding countryside, as well as a large detached garage and glasshouse. This fine property is within easy access of Tralee, Killarney, Killorglin, Castleisland and Kerry Airport and is described as ‘ a must view’.
