Ballyduff firm scoops All Star
BALLYDUFF based businessman Aidan O’Carrollhas won a top Irish industry ward.
Mr O’Carroll’s company Avalanche Designs was named as winner of the eCommerce and Web Developmenmt Award at the Business All Stars Awards in Dyblin recently.
Leading lights in Irish Business descended on Croke Park earlier this month for the Fourth Annual All-Ireland business summit and awards which was sponsored by Audi.
A 1000 strong audience from all 32 counties listened to various speakers who revealed their top secrets, confessions and the do’s and don’ts that have helped them achieve their business success.
The Business All-Stars competition final was one of the key elements of the summit.
The Business All-Stars is an annual competition designed to identify, recognise and award Irish companies and individuals that have distinguished themselves in the conduct of their business over the last 12 months.
Avalanche was accredited with the All-Star eCommerce and Web Development award. Speaking at the summit Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at University of Limerick who was the Chairperson of the Adjudication Panel explained what had helped Avalanche secure the award.
“Avalanche has demonstrated an ability to innovate and has impressive growth plans which no-doubt reflects the resilience and optimism that are the hallmarks of Irish entrepreneurs. Aidan and Avalanche bring a real inspiration for what is possible in business in Ireland and provide important role models for the many aspiring entrepreneurs and existing small firms”. Mr O’Carroll thanked to the judges.
