BALLINCLARE FAIR
Ballinclare Fair is an old horse fair. Its probably one of the oldest horse fairs in Ireland! It falls on the Sunday 6th of May. It strengthens from year to year. The fair is a good family day out. There are stalls and all types of animals from horses to chickens to sheep. Live music in all pubs, the famous Mutton Pies will be available, various sheep shows, best horse, best dressed lady, Pet show & competition @ 3pm. People come from all over Ireland and gather to enjoy the atmosphere of the day and to buy and sell animals.
COMMUNITY GAMES
Annascaul, Camp, Inch & Lispole Community Games athletics event will take place in Annascaul GAA Pitch on Monday 7th May at 4pm. Entry fee is €3 per person. There are no registration fees this year.
MINIATURE GARDEN
The Miniature Garden Competition will take place on 20 May. Free to e,nter. Must be 18+ years. Anyone from Ireland can enter. The miniature garden should be planted in a rectangular with approximate dimensions of length-75cm, width-37cm and depth-20.3cm. Your design must not exceed 15cm lengthways or widthways from your miniature gardens. Your design must not exceed 30cm in height from soil level. Over half of your display should be floral/planted. You can use any plants, herbs, vegetables, flowers, or other elements that you wish. Individual or groups can enter. All enteries will be judged by members of Annascaul Floral Artists and Garden Club. Cash prizes 1st, 2nd, 3rd. It will be held in the Community Centre, Annascaul, Co. Kerry. GREAT ANNASCAUL WALK
The great Annascaul Walk will take place on Sunday 6 May. The walk will follow two routes. Route A - Annascaul Lake and Beenoskee and Route B - Camp to Annascaul via the Dingle Way. Registration can be done online or in person at Annascaul GAA Pitch from 8am. Registration includes refreshments afterwards at Annascaul GAA Pitch and a raffle.
INCH BEACH PARKRUN
We are pleased to announce this inaugural parkrun event will be held on Saturday 19th May at Inch Beach, Co, Kerry. This will be the first ever beach parkrun in the Republic of Ireland.It will be a weekly timed 5km run/walk open to all abilities. This event is free and organized by volunteers.
