The Community Centre / Beale GAA Lotto, Sunday, 29th April, was held in The Exchange. The numbers drawn were: 10, 19, 24, 27. There was no winner of the €3,200 Jackpot. CASHEN VALE BOXING CLUB

Congratulations and well done to Aoife Stack and Kori Goad, our two female boxing trailblazers on been crowned Munster Boxing Champions in Churchfield Cork last Sunday. Both Girls will now be off to Dublin for the National Girl 11-16 Championships which gets underway next weekend.

MOYA

MOYA taking place this weekend 5th, 6th & 7th of May. MOYA is a family filled weekend leaflets are available in all businesses and in the tourist office. Check out there Facebook page for all details. The weekend varies from Yoga, food demo’s, dancing, cliff walks, drumming to name but a few. There is also a Busking Event and live street music. TEA DANCE

The next Tea Dance will be on Sunday May 27th at The Hibernian Bar from 3.00pm to 5.30pm. Music by Matt Dillion, Admission is €5. Everyone welcome.

TIDY TOWNS

A BIG thankyou to our friends and supporters who have recently made generous donations to Ballybunion Tidy Towns. It is much appreciated.

This coming Sunday, 6 May at 2pm, at the side of Kilcooly’s Bar, there will be an enveiling of a street sign, ;Danny Scanlon Way". This is in memory of Danny Scanlon who was involved in the 1916 Uprising. Family and friends invite everyone to attend the commemoration ceremony.

ELECTRICAL/BATTERY RECYCLING

Tidy Towns in conjunction with Kerry County Council will be hosting an Electrical Recycling Event on May 11th at Cahill’s SuperValu Ballybunion. Any item that has a plug on it or batteries in it will be accepted. Come early to avoid disappointment.
