Ardfert fashion talent Colin back for Enchanted show

-

HE has dressed some of pop’s biggest stars with his own designs, he comes from Ardfert and now he is coming home as special guest of a fashion show with a difference in Kenmare’s stunning Sheen Falls.

Colin Horgan, like Don O’Neill from up the road in Ballyheigue before him, is taking the fashion world by storm - from a base in London where he has dressed some of the biggest pop acts of the moment, like Lady Gaga, Little Mix and Dua Lipa.

Fashion fans are in for one hell of a treat at the forthcoming show, An Enchanted Forest at Sheen Falls, which will mark the solstice with an emphasis on the environment when it takes place tomorrow week, June 21.

Local designers Helen Steele, Alison Conneely, Sarah Murphy, Alice Halliday, Carol Kennelly, Tina Griffin, Hazel Comyn, Aoife Hannon, Delphine Grandjouan and House of Kerry will all feature with a showcase of summer collections from Hannons of Castleisland, MacBees Killarney, Annburys Tralee and Jasmine boutique, as well as bespoke headpieces by Cathy Troth.

Fine wines and canapés in the grounds of the hotel provide the appetising entry point to the night, as the fashion moves into a forest-themed interior, designed by creative director Ann Marie O’Leary.

Tickets priced at €85 are almost sold out. They are available from Eventbrite, online directly from orladiffily.eu or call 086 8399115.
