1. BARRADUFF NS TO HOLD ITS ANNUAL CYCLE
THE seventh annual BarraduffNS Resource cycle will take place next weekend on Sunday June 17.
It will be an 80km cycle with the route going frim Barraduff to KIlgarvan, Kenmare, Molls Gap, down into KIllarney and back into Barraduff.
Registration will take place from 7pm to 9pm on Saturday June 16 and again from 7:30am on the morning of the cycle.
Adults will cost just €20 and students will be €15 - don’t miss out on this great day of cycling and register now.
2. TRALEE TO BLOOM FOR FÉILE NA MBLÁTH
TRALEE is set to blossom into life this weekend as the annual Féile na mBláth festival takes place from Friday June 15 to Sunday June 17.
From dog shows and garden shows to cook outs and summer concerts to some fantastic medieval living history experiences, the weekend promises to be a great day out for the whole family.

3. TRALEE READY FOR SUMMER SOLSTICE 10K
THE hugely popular Summer Solstice 10k returns to Tralee next week and there is still time for you to register your place on the run.
Taking place on the evening of Thursday June 21 at 7:30pm, this run will be in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation.

4. STILL SPACES LEFT FOR HALF ON THE HEAD RUN
THERE are still a few spaces left in the upcoming ‘Half on the Head’ marathon and 10km run in Ballyheigue.
The hugely popular run takes place on Saturday June 16 and will take runners on one of the most scenic routes that Kerry has to offer; registration is available by heading over to the runs new website at www,halfonthehead.com.
5. SUSAN O’NEILL TO ENTERTAIN LISTOWEL
AFTER three fantastic support slots in Mike the Pies in Listowel, Susan O’Neill, aka SON, returns to the popular bar as a headline act this Thursday night, June 14.
Support on the night comes from the the hugely talented ex Raglans guitarist Sean OB; tickets are set to cost €10 and are available to buy from the ‘Mike the Pies’ website.
6. MEADOWLANDS CELEBRATES 20 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
THE Meadowlands Hotel in Tralee is this weekend celebrating its 20 year anniversary and they have quite a weekend lined up to mark the occasion.
The weekend, which will help to raise funds for the Kerry Hospice Foundation, will welcome Paul McGrath to the hotel as part of its celebrations.

7. KILFYNN READY FOR ITS VINTAGE WEEKEND
IT’S that time of year again when the village of Kilfynn readies itself for the return of its annual Vintage Weekend.
This years festival will take place from Saturday June 16 to Sunday June 17; the weekends activities will kick off from 7pm on Saturday evening with the vintage car/tractor and motorbike run.

8. TABLE QUIZ FOR CHERNOBYL CHARITY
CHERNOBYL Childrens Fun will hold a fundraising table quiz in the Ba Gaeil clubhouse on the night of Friday June 22 at 8:30pm.
All proceeds from the night will go towards the cost of bringing children from Belarus to Kerry for the Summer.
9. RECOVERY HAVEN ON SONG IN KILLARNEY
RECOVERY Haven will hold a fundraising concert this Sunday June 17 in the Killarney Cathedral.
The night of fun will feature the Roscommon Solstice Choir. Tickets are set to cost just€10 and are available to buy from from Recovery €10 or on the night.
10. GET EXERCISING THIS WEEKEND WITH PARKRUN
WHY not try to head down to take part in one of the many parkruns taking place around Kerry at the weekends?
There are five parkruns in Kerry: Tralee, Killarney, Listowel, Inch Beach and the Tralee junior parkrun.
These free 5km events are run every weekend by volunteers and they have been proven to be extremely popular in improving both physical and mental health.
The Tralee. Listowel and Killarney parkruns are held every Saturday morning from 9:30am onwards while the Tralee Junior parkrun takes place on Sunday at 9:30am - these 2km events are aged for children from 4-14 years old. People can register and print off their barcode at parkrun.ie.
