INTER-COUNTY: Jack Sheehan and Jack Parker were part of the Kerry U17 squad that was defeated by East Cork in the Corn Michael Hogan Cup quarter-final played on Monday, 18th June. Time and venue to be confirmed. Final Score: East Cork 4-23 Kerry 3-08.

CÚL CAMPS: Hurling Cúl Camp will take place in Abbeydorney from 23rd to 27th July. Cost is €60 per child with with reductions for additional members of families. U10: We were defeated by Causeway on Friday, 15th June on a scoreline of 4-04 to 4-02. U11: Our next game is away to Crotta on Wednesday 27th @ 7.00pm. U14: Our U14 team defeated Crotta O’Neills and Causeway in the opening rounds of the North Kerry U15 C’Ship. Scores: Abbeydorney Crotta O’Neills . Abbeydorney 5-09 Causeway 4-04. Next fixture: Abbeydorney -v- St. Brendans, Saturday 30th June in Ardfert @ 5.30pm. U15: Our U15 team represented Kerry at the Munster GAA Super Touch Hurling Finals in Mallow on Saturday 16th June. In their opening game, they defeated St. Patricks, Dungarvan 3-03 to 1-07. They then went on to defeat St. Kevins, Cork in the next game 3-08 to 2-07 to book a place in the semi-final where they faced Sixmilebridge, Clare. We were unfortunate to lose out on a place in a final having put in very impressive performances throughout the day. Well Done to all the players on the panel and their management team of Brian Murphy and Tony Maunsell.

U16: Co. U16 Hurling C’Ship Fixture Abbeydorney -v- St. Brendan’s Ardfert, Tuesday 3rd July @ 6.30pm in Abbeydorney.

MINORS: Round 1 of the Co. League will take place on Thursday 5th July @ 7.30pm in Kilgarvan against Kenmare/ Kilgarvan. INTERMEDIATE: We were defeated by Kenmare Shamrocks in Div. 2A Co. League on Wednesday 20th June in Abbeydorney. Final Score: Kenmare Shamrocks 3-21 Abbeydorney 2-14. SENIORS: We were defeated by Lixnaw in Round 7 of Div. 1 Co. League last Sunday evening in Lixnaw. Final Score: Lixnaw 3-22 Abbeydorney 2-14. The team will look to get their C’Ship campaign back on track this Sunday after a disappointing opening round defeat to Ballyduff on a scoreline of Ballyduff 4-19 Abbeydorney 3-07. We will play St. Brendan’s, Ardfert in Round 2 this Sunday afternoon, 1st July @ 4.00pm in Austin Stacks Park.
