Everybody welcome! from u8 to u16, thanks to our parents, supporters and volunteers over the two days. There were buckets of water drank and bottles of suncream used over the two days.
Congratulations to all those who won podium places and to those who didn’t we hope you’ll be back again next year and that you really enjoyed the experience. Returning to Duagh/Lyre are 4 gold,, 4 silver, 1 bronze,2 certs along with u10 mixed relay certs, u12 boys relay bronze and u12 girls relay silver. Results: Saoirse Dillon u12 100m, 1st Ronan Sheridan u12 long jump, 1st Dylan Buckley u12 ball throw, 1st Tara O’Regan u14 long puck. 2nd Gavin Dillon u12 200m, Mike Galvin u14 javelin, Kate Sheridan u8 80m and Liam Galvin u8 80m. 3rd Luke Sheridan u12 600m. The winners of the darts in Parker’s Lounge Bar , Kilflynn on Saturday 23rd June were John Byrne and John Leahy who defeated Declan Falvey and Paud Fuller in the Final. The winners received a leg of lamb each. The next darts doubles tournament takes place on Saturday 30th June at 10.30p.m in Parker’s Lounge Bar.
