Aoibhínn judging the style in Listowel
ACTRESS Aoibhín Garrihy is set to be the main judge at this years Ladies Day which takes place on Friday September 14 as part of the annual Listowel Racing Festival.
Aoibhín will be joined in her judging role by her close friend and stylist Marietta Doran and together, they will try to pick out the most stylish woman from the thousands in attendance.
Some of this years Ladies Day prizes include an all new and super stylish Honda Civic for a year along with a cheque for €3,000.
This is the fourth year of the McElligotts Honda sponsorship and in addition to the all new Honda Civic with €3,000 cash for the Best Dressed Lady, there are also prizes for the Jazziest Headpiece, Most Iconic Lady, Most Stylish Young Racer and Most Stylish Selfie!
Another new prize this year this year will be the Best Dressed Stable Groom Prize. The annual 7 day Listowel Harvest Racing Festival runs from Sunday 9th to Saturday 15th of September 2018. For more information visit www.listowelraces.ie.
The first runner up will receive a cheque for €1,000 and second runner up a cheque for €500. In addition, Listowel Races are sponsoring a prize of €300 for the most Stylish Young Racer under 25 years of age, with second prize of €200, and third prize of €100.
The winners of the McElligott’s Honda Jazziest Headpiece will receive a cheque for €500; the McElligott’s Honda Most Iconic Woman will receive a cheque for €300 and the McElligott’s Honda Most Stylish Selfie will receive €300.
The new category, the Best Dressed Stable Groom, will receive a cheque for €300. The Most Glamorous Young Racer, the Most Stylish Selfie and the Best Dressed Stable Groom are open to entry from both male and female racegoers.
Celebrating 160 years of racing at Listowel, this year’s Harvest Racing Festival is on from Sunday September 9 to Saturday September 15.
