Valentia gears up for ROKC

GOOD luck to all Valentia and Iveragh cyclists who will participate in this weekend’s Ring of Kerry Cycle event, Munster’s biggest one-day charity event.

Commiserations to Pat O’Connor of Cooil, Valentia, a committed and totally dedicated Ring cyclist, who will not be there this year due to sustaining a broken collar bone while training earlier in the year.

Commiserations also to John Cooper of Chapeltown, Valentia, also gutted at not partaking due to being ruled out with a recently sustained calf injury.
