Unwanted treble for Tralee

TRALEE Golf Club notched up an unwanted treble on Thursday last at Killarney when their Mixed Foursomes team were beaten by four matches to one in the West Munster area final by Doneraile.

It was the Barrow club’s third defeat this year in a West Munster area final, following previous defeats by Castleisland in the Jimmy Bruen Shield and Kanturk in the Pierce Purcell Shield.

Tralee however still have a Munster semi-final to look forward to in the Senior Cup at Thurles in August when they take on Castletroy.
