ANNASCAUL CELEBRATING SINGING

The Annascaul Celebrating Singing organisers are delighted to announce that the official date for this year’s annual event is the weekend of 27th-29th July in Annascaul Village. We are honoured to have renowned Dingle-based singer, songwriter and performer Éilís Ní Chinnéide open this year’s festivities at Annascaul community centre on Friday 27th July, at our opening night showcase. Éilís is one of Ireland’s finest musical voices, with strong ties to the musically fertile land of the Gaeltacht. Born and bred in the heart of the music and poetry of West Kerry, Éilís has said that “there was a sense of music which was never forced, but was as natural as the familiar ease of a great homely house.”

Keep the dates free - a weekend of all kinds of singing and music from gospel to blues to the tradition in Annascaul Village. Plenty of entertainment to be had with great company; it’s a feature event that’s not to be missed!
