In the boys 600m Luke Sheridan was in great form going into the race considering the heat, Luke ran a smart first 300m tucked in behind and then got out in front and put in a little burst to take on the competition and looked very relaxed. Turning into the final 100m with a hard battle on the home straight Luke finished 3rd, a great run and he should be very proud of his performance. MEADOWLANDS CHEQUE PRESENTATION

After a hugely successful weekend of celebration and events, the Mahuna family and the staff of the hotel handed over a cheque for €22,820 on Thursday. We were blown away by this and we are so grateful to all who took part and to all who supported in any way. The Meadowlands celebrated their 20th annivasary with a host of events and decided to raise money for the Kerry Hospice Foundation at the same time. We can not thank the Mahunas enough for this huge cheque presentation which will be put to great use towards the running of the day unit and the new inpatient unit.

We would just also like to congratulate you on this big milestone and wish you all the best for the next 20 years in business.

As always we are hugely thank full to all for the wonderful support we continue to get from the public and to all who organise events for the Kerry Hospice Foundation. None of this would be possible but for the fantastic fundraising that is done on a regular basis.
