There was no winner of the 1st July lotto jackpot of €6,500 the numbers drawn were 8,14,15,22. The €35 was won by Julie Ahern, Lyre and the €20 was won by Kathleen Gallagher, Renagown. The four sets of free tickets for €6,750 Jackpot next week were won by Jerry Courtney, Knocknagoshel, Naughton Grandchildren, Kyre, Mary Ann Haigh, Lyre and Nianh Naughton c/o M.Naughton. The whiskey was won by Kathleen O’Connor, Lyre and the voucher by Albert Roche, Lyre.

DEVELOPMENT AGM

The Annual General Meeting of Lyreacrompane Development Company will take place on Monday 9th July at the Resource Centre at 8p.m. All welcome to attend and new members welcome.

GRAVEYARD MASS

Mass in Lyreacrompane Graveyard will take place on Sunday 29th July at 11a.m. There will be no mass in the Church on that day. Duagh Annual Graveyard Mass will be held at Duagh Cemetery on Thursday 26th July at 8p.m.

TRAVEL

September week end break Friday 21st to Monday 24th September, Big Tom Unveiling Statue in Castleblaney. Based in the Cavan Crystal 4* hotel with complimentary use of the Leisure Centre, full Irish Breakfast and four course dinner with dancing afterwards in our hotel.

Touring by day. We will be stopping at the Barack Obbama Plaza for breakfast and dinner on the homeward journey everyone responsible for refreshments outside of the hotel. Stopping Athlone, Longford to visit St. Mel’s Cathedral.
