JUVENILES: The under 10 football team competed in the Miltown Gaa blitz on Sunday last.

They reached the semi final of their grouping and were beaten by a last minute goal by Listry to deny them a spot in the final. They beat Kenmare, and Milltown, along the way. it was a really enjoyable day with a lot of support travelling from Ardfert. Their next outing is the John Mitchels blitz which takes place on July 21.

The under 8s also competed in the John Mitchels blitz which was held on Sunday morning last, it was a really enjoyable day out for everyone, well done to all involved. SENIORS; The Ardfert Senior footballer­s have had two very important wins over the last two weekends which moves them up the table. An under strength team travelled to Barraduff to take on Glenflesk in the re fixed round 7 game of the county league, this was a truly inspiratio­nal performanc­e from the Ardfert boys. At half time Ardfert led 0-13 to 1-7. Glenflesk scored a point from the restart but Ardfert dug deep to run out winners on a 1-17 to 1-14 scoreline.
