GARDAÍ are seeking a man in connection with a stabbing that took place in the midst of a brawl outside Listowel Garda Station on Monday night.

Five males, all aged in their late teens and early 20’s, began fighting just after 11pm outside the Garda Station on Church Street.

Hearing the commotion outside, Gardaí acted quickly and arrested four of the men but a fifth man involved in the fracas fled the scene.

The four men were brought inside where it was discovered that one of the arrested men had been stabbed and had suffered a number of wounds to his back.
