Kerry properties make their mark at July’s Munster Property Auction

-

THE Munster Property Auction held its public auction on July 12th where a range of sales (88%) of family homes, agricultural lands, builders’ projects and sites were offered from around the province.

In Kerry a 2 bed semi-detached property was offered in partnership William Hennigan Auctioneer. ‘30 Killarney Country Club’ benefits from splendid mountain views and is located just outside Killarney town. The property’s location meant enquiries prior to the auction were brisk from local, national and international buyers. The bidding opened at €75,000 before the hammer eventually fell at €100,000. Approximately 160 acres of mountain land were also sold for €100,000 in partnership with Fitzgerald & Associates, Dingle.

Patrick Convey, Director of The Munster Property Auction, said the success of the auction is down to the extensive marketing campaign undertaken in Ireland and abroad.

“In the lead up to the auction we work in close partnership with our network of 50 local partner estate agents from throughout the province,” Patrick said.

“This combination of both access to the local buying pool and the broader reach of the auction, ensures we have the best chance of finding buyers for all properties we offer for sale. We are also the only auction company in Ireland who do not have entry or marketing fees to enter a property into auction,” he added.

The Munster Property Auction are now welcoming entries for their 45 day online auctions and upcoming public auction on September 20th. With a large database of registered buyers, and the impressive success rate, the Munster Property Auction say they are confident their public auctions will continue to get the right results for their clients.
