McHugh set to return for Cordal

-

CORDAL GAA Club is currently in the process of developing its available ground into a juvenile pitch and training area.

In order to help with the funding of the project, the club has invited the ever-popular young Queen of Country, Lisa McHugh, back to Castleisland. This is on the strength of Ms McHugh’s sell-out concert in Castleisland last year.

This September’s concert is no more than a couple of weeks away and will be held at Castleisland Community Centre on Friday, September 7.

“It will be a night of full entertainment and dancing in what is a super venue,” said club secretary Richard O’Donoghue.

“When the present development will be completed Cordal GAA Club will have invested just under €300,000 into our grounds.

“This is an investment for generations to come for Cordal people and many others from neighbouring areas.

“We invite you to support us by joining us at the concert for what promises to another great night in Castleisland,” said Richard. Doors will open at 8pm. Dancing starts at 8:30pm with local Cordal man Dan Dan.

He will be followed by the much-awaited Lisa McHugh with her full band. A disco will follow afterwards.

There will be full-bar facilities available on the night also. Tickets cost €20 and are available in the following outlets: Jackie Reidy’s Menswear; Hair Affair – Mary Teresa; Lynch’s Pharmacy; Flowers by Sheila; Hughes’ Bar, Cordal; Kearneys Post Office, Cordal; Millstreet Motor Factors; Macroom Motor Factors; Tru Care Dry Cleaners Tralee and Killarney; Club officers; or by phone on (087) 228 5653 or online at www. cordalgaa.com
