The Park and Windmill best placed in competitive 1B

- Windmill United, The Park, Castlegregory, Castlemaine, Killorglin B, Classic B, Killarney Athletic B, Inter Kenmare

DIVISION 1B

THIS is probably the most competitive division with any one of 4 or 5 teams capable of making the decider.

Windmill United, The Park and Castlegregory were unlucky not to make the league final last season and they will be determined to try and go all the way this season.

Without a doubt The Park are the team to look out for in this division as they have some very exciting young players coming up through the ranks.

Padraig McCannon and Tadhg Healy are the new management team and their main aim will be to get the club back where they should be in the top tier of Kerry soccer.

They won’t have it all their own way in this division as Windmill United and Castlegregory will be their main challengers. Windmill let a great chance to reach the final last season go but with Paudie Bailey back fit again they will be strong contenders.

Castlegregory will be disappointed they just missed out last season but with a strong panel of players and a committed side Damien Finn could guide them to the Promised Land.

If they perform to the best of their abilities Castlemaine could also be in with a shout while it will be interesting to see how Inter Kenmare fare as well as newly promoted Killorglin B and Classic FC B. Prediction for the final: The Park v Windmill United
