ST. BRENDANS A.C:

St Brendan’s AC juvenile training for the new cross country season begins on this Wednesday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm in An Fearann, behind Ardfert Medical Centre. All ages from 7 to 19 will be catered for and the cost is €2 and athletes should bring their own bottle of water. Training will continue on Saturday mornings from 11.00am to 12.00noon in An Fearann. Parents are asked to assist at the training.

The first cross country competitio­n of the year will be the primary schools event on Wednesday, September 19th in An Fearann for the St Brendan’s AC area.

DEATH

The death took place of Margaret Doyle(née Lawlor), The Village, Ballyduff. Her remains were removed from her residence to SS Peter’s & Paul’s Church, Ballyduff. Burial was in Rahela Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to her family, relatives & friends.
