There was no winner of the 2nd Septembert lotto jackpot of €2300, the numbers drawn were 2,8,14,18. The €35 was won by Ger Brosnan, Meenleitrim and the €20 was won by Mike Nolan, Gortcloghane. The four sets of free tickets for €2450 lotto jackpot next week were won by Sean O’Connell, Lyre, John Nolan, Knocknagoshel, Diamuid Reidy, Castleisland and Dave Murphy, Lyre. OVER 55’S

Lyreacrompane Over 55’s will resume on Friday September 7th from 10.30 am to 2pm. Since the Centre first opened in 2000, the group has met every Friday apart from a brief summer break. On arrival at 10.30 enjoy tea and scones & avail of the services / activities. Our Pal trained volunteers will take you through light exercises or you can avail of the outdoor walking track and exercise unit. Sit and chat, play board games or play cards.Avail of a weekly hairdressing service and a visiting chiropodist every 6 wks approx.A 3 course lunch is served at 12.30 followed by bingo. Day trips and evening excursions also take place. Transport is provided if required. For further information contact any committee member or the Resource Centre on 068 48369. CONGRATULATIONS

The marriage took place of Barry son of Pat and Breda Carmody, Lyreacrompane to Sinead daughter of Christy and Margaret Dillon, Lisselton in Nerja, Spain on Thursday 23rd August, Congratulations and best wishes to the happy couple, they will reside in Limerick.
